Mission Statement:

Montclair State University’s Division of Information Technology is responsible for all enterprise information technologies across campus including:

Enterprise Technology Services

The wired and wireless network, data centers, servers and operating software, landline and cell phones and information security

Enterprise Application Services

Implementation and support of enterprise applications including our Student Information System (Banner), Finance (Workday), Human Resources and Payroll (Workday), our application portal (NEST), Identity and Access Management System and our reporting and analytic tools

Technical Support Services

Direct client-facing support including the IT Service Desk providing phone/ email/ chat support for all campus technologies, desktop/laptop deployment and support for faculty and staff, and audio-visual and desktop equipment deployment and support in classrooms, student labs and collaboration spaces

The Division of Information Technology works closely with college/school/division technology coordinators and resources to optimize selection, deployment and integration of enterprise and local technologies to meet campus-wide information and processing needs.
